Staycation accessories – the Night Owl 3-in-1 Sleeping Bag
Like millions of other Brits, my family has embraced the staycation this year. So much so, that we have recently purchased a caravan, for the whole family to share. There’s one particular item that has come in very handy during recent caravan trips; the Night Owl 3-in-1 Sleeping Bag. Here, I explain why.
Sleeping bags, camping and caravans
Traditionally, sleeping bags would be rolled up tightly and carried on your back whilst hiking. You would then pitch your tent and roll your sleeping bag out. This made sense, as they’re lightweight, easy to use and they can be packed up easily after a night in a tent.
But some of us are not built for camping, as we find it wet, windy and uncomfortable. One way I have found to enjoy the great outdoors comfortably, is through caravanning. However, a sleeping bag is one camping accessory that comes in very handy on my caravanning trips.
If you’ve ever slept in a caravan, you will know that it can be hard to get comfortable. You might have difficulty sleeping in a strange bed and worry about any strange noises that you hear. So it is important to make sure you’re cosy, otherwise you might not sleep at all.
The Night Owl 3-in-1 Sleeping Bag
My family uses the Night Owl 3-in-1 Sleeping Bag within our caravan. Initially, we started using it to save us changing the sheets each time we visited. The fact that we could simply roll the sleeping bag open and have a comfortable, warm night’s sleep, appealed.
But this sleeping bag comes with some additional advantages that we love. The fact that it’s a double bag, means that one person has lots of space to get comfortable, or it can be shared.
Not only is this item warm and versatile, but it comes with duffle bag, that it fits neatly inside. I always try to pack light when I’m going on my caravanning trips and this sleeping bag doesn’t take up much space at all. I don’t think there’s anything worse than having to lug around heavy suitcases up and down stairs. Or heavy bedding for that matter! But I don’t have to worry about that with this sleeping bag. It also washes and dries well and it isn’t at all bulky.
What else should you take with you on your next caravan trip?
If you’re a fan of caravanning, then there are a few different accessories that you should pack ahead of your next trip.
In addition, you should bring some warm slippers and a hot water bottle (this is especially important in the Autumn and Winter months).
Not just for tents
Naturally, we tend to associate tents with sleeping bags. But actually, we can use them in a number of different places, including in the caravan. If you’ve recently started to embrace staycations and caravanning, then you should seriously consider investing in a Night Owl 3-in-1 Sleeping Bag. This is one accessory I’m very pleased I discovered.
